What MoJo Spectrum Is...

MoJo Spectrum is a service which allows you to treat your cue as a blank canvas; while we can keep the same swing-weighted perfection, the same neat tips and fittings that give you the fantastic MoJo accuracy for playing, we can change the exterior finish to almost anything you want! This service is great if you've always had an idea sitting in your head as to what your 'dream cue' would look like, or if you just prefer being totally original about everything (even though MoJo cues are pretty unsual anyway...).

What Else Can MoJo Do?

MoJo have recently started being able to use glitter and sparkles in their cues to add a bit of extra razzamataz! The Deep Space Glitter Bug and the Ultimate Glitterati are the only two on the site at the moment, though of course we can do them to order!

ALSO, MoJo will soon being doing some even more amazing things...to replace the infilled Engraving option, which was always a little limted in range, we are now going to be offering full graphical, bespoke design services so we can help you make your cue reality, from background colour, to patterns, from butt to tip. Prices are dependent on what you want, so best to get in touch to get an accurate quotation; We like to stick to our word!

Call us now to find out more if you'd rather have a chat! Or whiz us a Form from the Contact Us page, with a brif synopsis of your ideas and / or a telephone number and we'll give you a call.

More amazing and mad combinations coming soon! If you have one you'd love, get in touch, tell us what it is, and we'll quote you a price for having it made!

FAQ and Filling in the MoJo Spectrum Form:

1) How do I get my MoJo Spectrum Form?

You can request a MoJo Spectrum form by emailing us (sales@mojocues.co.uk) or calling us, 07747 607788, OR we automatically send one to your email address if you purchase a MoJo Spectrum Option.

We have different forms for the different options - ie the number of colours you'd like!

2) How do I make sure you know the colour(s) I want?

In the form there are spaces for you to enter files or images that show the colours you want, though if possible real swatches are more useful ie, cut out printed colours from a magazine or a piece of material, as computer colours are generated using RGB and CMYK codes which don't translate into the physical world in the same way! If you'd rather print off the form and send it to us with the swatches stapled or numbered so we know how you'd like your cue, that's no problem - the more information we have, the better job we can do!

With any Fade cues, while we get the chosen colours you send us correct, these colours obey the rules of science and nature and may form another colour while they fade in or out, as in a colour spectrum. Red fading to yellow will probably mean there is some orange during that transitional period for example. If this is a problem, then is best to let us know so we can see if there are alternatives. Usually, however, the fade effect is so good, that it actually enhances the cue immensely. A cue fade from a dark blue to a light blue is, alternatively, not going to have any other colours involved - if you need any more explanation on this, do get in touch!

3) I send back my form, and what then?

We confirm with you that we have it and draw up a mock up of the colour placement which we can do by email, and once you have agreed that layout (ie if you're having two colours, where they change over, if it's a straight split between the top shaft and butt shaft OR if it's a fade from one colour to the other) then we can go ahead with the creation of your cue using the swatches you have supplied.

4) How accurate are the colours to the swatches I send you?

Obviously having printed/physical swatches rather than computer generated colour swatches helps us to be more accurate, and we're perfectionists ourselves so will always try our absolute best to create something really excellent for you as you wanted it. Obviously, some colours are harder than others and due to the nature of the dyes we use, it's not exact to a decimal point degree, but if its any indication, we've had lots of happy customers so far! We would never send something if the colour came out looking orange rather than red!

5) If the cue is what I asked for but I got is as a present, can I send it back?

For bespoke items such as the MoJo Spectrum range, we generally do not take returned unused items - just like you wouldn't order a wedding dress, have it fitted and then decide you'd changed your mind - too much effort goes into making the cues to allow for the fickleness of human fancy ('I just decided I didn't like that blue as much as I thought I did' - not much we can do about that!). We recommend that you only get a MoJo Spectrum cue if it really grabs you, it's an idea you've had inside your mind for a while, or you can afford to treat yourself or someone else without it being the end of the world if, like an expensive new computer game, you end up not using it as much as you planned! No one has ever wanted to return anything, and may this long continue!

6) How long does it take?

How long depends on how many colours! Also, for more unusual colours we may need to order new dyes in, but we get to work on these as quickly as possible because we want to get your cue to you as soon as we can! We're on your side! We aim to have your cue with you (it its bespoke) within 2 weeks, though for more complicated projects it may take longer and when that does happen we let you know but obviously if there is a deadline WE DO OUR UTMOST (and we mean that) to get it to you on time!

NEW! MoJo Swirled!

Our most recent exciting edition is the Mojo Swirled Range. Colours available are pretty much anything - orange, red, yellow, green, blue, purple, white, black, grey, gold (not metallic), brown, pink, cream...neon flourescent colours (pink and yellow)....We can do pretty much anything - so we really are trying to create a cue of your own conception.

1) How does it work?

When you purchase your option on the website or over the phone (whichever is most convenient and easier for you) we then go through EVERYTHING we need to create your cue, and obviously go over anything in here that isn't clear to you. We realise that this is a very unusual item, and is also very personal, so while we're very familiar with certain aspects, to the uninitiated it would be a bit confusing, so do please get in touch if you are unclear, and we'll help explain things. Details we will need are: what size of tip, what type of end (a rounded end or a flattened end), the colour of the fittings (bronze or stainless steel, and for American Pool, Titanium alloy), amd of course, THE COLOURS.

2) How do you get the colours that I want right?

While you are welcome to email the colours of your choice to us as an attachment or inside an email etc, we really would much prefer fabric swatches or printed swatches, as explained further up this page, these are much more accurate for colour matching. We do try and get as close as possible to what you give us, and if there is a particular problem with one for whatever reason (sky-blue-pink is usually a litte tricky) then we will get in touch, and work around it. There shouldn't be any colour we can't do, but we don't want to say 'never'! 3) Why does it take so long?

The whole process is actually a lot more complicated and delicate than you might think, and like all good things (like babies and good cappuccinos!) they take a while but they're worth waiting for! We have various elements to take into account, from getting the correct colours, to the drying times (atmosphere affected - hopefully with warmer summer weather coming this will help!), to the final finishing. One thing that we have discovered, is that we can't rush these, so we will ask that you are patient, and trust that as a company policy, everything we undertake to do, we do as best as we can. If you REALLY need something done quickly, we can try and do it quicker, depending on what is already on order. The good thing is, once we have the information, unlike having a baby, or home decorating, you can just sit back and relax, and just look forward to the result without any stress or hard work!

Please note: MoJo Swirled Cues cannot be engraved! MOJO SIGNATURE - Make Your Cue Bespoke!

New - the graphical services that mean you can truly design and have made your own cue that is as personal as a tattoo, or decorating your home, or designing your own car! Something you can feel proud of everytime you get it out the box, regardless of how good you are at the table! (though MoJo Cues generally improve most people's game!)

1) How does it work?

Best thing to do it get in touch, though you are welcome to make a purchase from the options in the MoJo Bespoke Category (launching later today), as every cue design is different, just as every person is unique. Some people will want something small, some people will want something larger and more dramatic. The most important thing for you to remember is we're on your side, we want to help you make what ideas are floating around in your head a reality! We're not scary, so do please get in touch to get some idea of cost, and if you have a budget, we can try and tailor it to that. 2) How long does it take?

Each design is different, so will take varying amounts of time. Depending on how much graphical work needs to be done and then creating the cue, it could take 3 weeks to 6 weeks, but everyone will be done to a very high degree of precision, as we are a bunch of perfectionists!

3) Can I send you my cue?

We understand and respect, people are very attached to their cue, and is is partly for that reasons, we don't want to try and adapt an existing cue to something new using our specifically MoJo designed services. We recommend for the best results, that you choose a MoJo cue from our range as the base to your design, or choose to have a completely new one done to the exact shade / colour scheme of your choice.
